Tata Elxsi Limited is hiring Embedded Firmware Engineers for Healthcare and Medical Devices engineering programs in Pune, Bengaluru, and Thiruvananthapuram. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience and relevant exposure to medical device product development.
The role focuses on embedded firmware used in healthcare and medical technology products. Candidates should be comfortable contributing to firmware development, integration, troubleshooting, and collaboration with software and systems engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot embedded firmware components.
• Support integration between firmware, hardware, and other product software.
• Investigate technical issues and contribute to root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with system engineering, software development, and verification teams.
• Support firmware testing and product integration activities.
• Follow relevant lifecycle documentation, design control, and risk management practices.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
• Experience with embedded systems or firmware development.
• Medical device product development experience.
• Exposure to IEC 62304 and ISO 13485.
• Understanding of SDLC, design controls, and risk management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Minimum experience: 2+ years, as stated in the hiring announcement.
