Siemens Energy is hiring a Gen AI Specialist for its team in Gurugram, Haryana, India. This full-time opportunity is intended for experienced professionals with 5–8 years of relevant experience in Azure cloud technologies and Python, including hands-on experience designing and implementing generative AI solutions.
The successful candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders to identify requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and develop scalable AI applications using Azure OpenAI services. The role involves working with generative AI models across text, image, and video use cases while ensuring performance, reliability, data privacy, and compliance within the Azure ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for AI-based applications.
• Develop and manage applications using Azure OpenAI services and generative AI models for text, image, and video use cases.
• Design and implement scalable generative AI solutions aligned with business requirements and performance expectations.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security policies when handling sensitive information.
• Monitor and maintain AI solutions within Azure to support optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Stay up to date with Azure AI service enhancements and emerging industry trends.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions on Azure AI technologies to encourage adoption across the organisation.
• Support the development of AI applications using Python, NLP techniques, and data-processing frameworks.
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions for NLP applications, including chatbots using Azure AI Search and Azure Storage.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems, applications, and other cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that solutions meet technical, operational, security, and business requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• 5–8 years of relevant experience with Azure cloud technologies and Python.
• In-depth knowledge of AI technologies, particularly OpenAI ChatGPT and large language models.
• At least one year of experience designing and implementing generative AI solutions on Azure.
• Strong Python programming skills and knowledge of NLP techniques, including tokenization, sentiment analysis, text classification, and word embeddings.
• Experience with Pandas, file processing frameworks, and data modelling.
• Hands-on experience with RAG models for NLP applications and chatbot development.
• Familiarity with Azure AI Search, Azure Storage, and Azure Cognitive Services.
• Knowledge of Text Analytics, Translator Text, and Form Recognizer.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and version control tools such as GitHub or GitLab.
• Basic understanding of Azure networking concepts, including Virtual Networks, subnets, firewalls, load balancers, and ExpressRoute.
• Front-end development proficiency with React.
• Experience with Azure Machine Learning is beneficial.
• Experience integrating with Snowflake, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
