Jagran New Media is hiring a Senior Sub Editor (Health) for its Onlymyhealth digital editorial team in Noida, Sector 16. The role is for an English-language editor with prior health or medical content experience, preferably in a digital newsroom or editorial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Write, edit, and proofread health and medical content for a general audience.
• Prepare health news, explainers, and trend-based stories.
• Review medical information and simplify it without losing accuracy or context.
• Ensure content is clear, readable, factually careful, and suitable for general readers.
• Apply basic SEO and digital publishing principles when preparing content.
• Maintain editorial quality and ensure that health information is presented responsibly.
Required Skills:
• Previous experience in health or medical content, preferably digital editorial.
• Strong English writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to explain medical information for general audiences rather than writing primarily for medical journals, doctors, or specialist medical readers.
• Understanding of SEO and digital content requirements.
The position is intended for candidates who can combine editorial judgement, medical-content understanding, and accessible writing for a digital health audience.
