Lion Engineering Consultants Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a qualified and experienced Assistant Quality cum Material Engineer (AQME) for the Ahmednagar Bypass National Highway Project in Maharashtra.
The role involves supporting quality assurance, construction material inspection, and compliance monitoring for highway infrastructure works. The selected candidate will assist in ensuring that construction materials and civil engineering activities conform to project specifications, applicable standards, and approved quality procedures.
Candidates must have a Civil Engineering qualification and relevant experience in National Highway (NH) projects. The required experience depends on the candidate's qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with quality control and quality assurance activities for highway construction works.
- Inspect construction materials to verify their suitability and compliance with project specifications.
- Support material sampling, testing, and documentation in accordance with applicable standards and project requirements.
- Review material test reports and help maintain quality records.
- Assist in checking construction activities against approved drawings, technical specifications, and quality plans.
- Monitor the quality of materials such as aggregates, cement, bitumen, concrete, and other materials relevant to the project.
- Coordinate with site engineers, laboratory personnel, contractors, and other project stakeholders on quality-related matters.
- Maintain inspection records, material approval documents, and quality control registers.
- Identify material or construction non-conformities and report them to the relevant engineering personnel.
- Assist in tracking corrective actions and verifying compliance with quality requirements.
- Support preparation of quality reports and other project documentation.
- Follow relevant engineering specifications, highway construction standards, and project quality procedures.
Mandatory Eligibility:
B.Tech in Civil Engineering:
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
Diploma in Civil Engineering:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Additional Mandatory Requirement:
- Experience working on National Highway (NH) projects.
